Modern , progressive sensitive these words really tickles ,,, but when situation comes we generally behaves exactly in opposite way... caste system or jati is still a truth in Indian context ,, how much we claim of ideological or material progress but we don't have any courage to give it up.. we are carrying our titles which is symbolizes a particular caste.. though generally we don't show any hatred towards any caste or we just say '' i don't believe in it''.. but when matter of marriage comes we go for same caste except love marriages ... in most of the cases votes are casted on the caste lines ... and lot of examples ... now the question is why ......? can not we make a society where we will be known by our own distinct identity (and i have firm believe that every individual in all his creation a unique being.) not by caste .. further the problem does not ends here same is true for religion or any things which is not manifestation individuals personality or which he is carrying simply because he was born in that way... these kind of question always troubles me.. i invite valuable comments and suggestion in this regards and if possible can we change at least ourselves.
